Modeling of a non-aqueous Li-O₂ battery incorporating synergistic reaction mechanisms, microstructure, and species transport in the porous electrode

In this work, a microscopic model of the electrode scale of a non-aqueous Li-O₂ battery is constructed. The interdependence of reaction pathways and electrode microstructure evolution is established, and the species transport relationship is corrected by Li₂O₂ morphologies. Based on the model, the phenomenon of two discharge voltage platforms in some experiments is explained. The work provides a reference for revealing the coupled phenomena in Li-O₂ batteries.
