Tailoring the Electrochemical Deposition of Zn by Tuning the Viscosity of the Liquid Electrolyte

In this work, the regulatory effect of electrolyte viscosity on Zn deposition during battery cycling was proposed for the first time, and the mechanism was modeled and numerically verified. Then, in situ observation, full battery deep cycling, etc. were used to further verify the regulation mechanism of viscosity on Zn deposition. The conclusion of this work provides new ideas for the development of high-performance Zn-based batteries in the future.
